Indian Classical Music . org

Musical Nirvana is pround to present IndianClassicalMusic.org , a site dedicated to our beloved Shastreeya Sangeeth. The basic purpose of the site is to help classical artists host their own websites. The sites can be hosted by the artists, their disciples or fans. The difference between the artist pages here in Musical Nirvana and at Indian Classical Music . org is that, there the artist, their disciples or fans control the content of the site.

A small FAQ is here. Just post any other questions you have.

FAQ

1. Who can host an artist's site ?

Artist himself / herself, his/her disciple or a fan of the artist.

2. Is it free ?

Yes.

3. Will there be banner ads ?

No. There will never be any ads.

4. Do I need a domain ?

No. If you do not have a domain, the site will be hosted on a sub-domain ... like artistname.indianclassicalmusic.org

5. I already have the domain !

Fine. I can host that too. You would have to just pay the yearly renewal fee ( I suggest ev1server.net which charges just over $5 per year).

6. Who will design the site ?

I can help design the site. The content will be yours. I'm trying to install a Content Management System (cms) to make it easy.
