Brothers, Mazhar Ali Khan and Jawad Ali Khan, are the proud inheritors of the Kasur-Patiala Gharana heritage. They are the sons of Ustad Karamat Ali Khan and grand sons of the doyen of the gharana Ustad Bade Gulam Ali Khan.

Initial guidance for the young masters was at the feet of their father and yeldest son Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, Ustad Karamat Ali Khan. Later Ustad Munawar Ali Khan, their uncle and second son of Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan tutored them.

With the passing of their uncle, they are now the leading lights of the famous lineage. Their broad and virile voices compell attention and their performances never fail to impress the audience. Their rendering of Thumri-s and Dadra-s is with immense beauty and eligance. They have given concerts all over India, Pakistan and even in Canada. Their album release includes Yadd-e-Sabrang featuring thumri-e and dadra-s dedicated to Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan.
